WP.7. Use cases Adaptation, Integration and Experimentation
WP.7. Use cases Adaptation, Integration and Experimentation
The work package focuses on integrating the outcomes of the research and development WPs of COSMOS, verifying their applicability through two representative smart city use case scenarios and providing useful feedback about the COSMOS concepts and technologies.
In particular, this WP will focus on:
- Bringing the results of the development work packages into a real context.
- Showing the feasibility of the main COSMOS innovations and perform a qualitative and quantitative validation of their realization.
- dentifying and designing a set of real-life scenarios where the COSMOS propositions can be exploited in a real-world smart city environment.
- Implementing and experimenting with a demonstrator for each of the scenarios
- Testing the functionality, effectiveness and quality of the developed technologies
- Evaluating the adoption of the COSMOS technologies in real-world smart city cases
- Supporting and enriching the COSMOS dissemination and exploitation activities with the developed demonstrators.
- Defining and adopting a common set of tools for software integration to boost the integration process, reduce the bottlenecks of distributed development and ensure high quality of results.
- Integrating the components produced by the development teams and providing a unique release for COSMOS developments.
Two indicative smart city IoT scenarios have been identified, covering different environments and contexts:
- Smart heat and electricity management in London Borough of Camden
- Eco-conscious cruise control in Madrid
