WP.5. Decentralized and Autonomous Things Management

The main objective of this work package is to overcome the inefficiencies of existing management approaches given the big number of things and the different administrative domains on which they operate. To this direction, WP5 will provide a framework for the decentralized and autonomous management of things based on service-, interaction-, location- and reputation-oriented principles, inspired by social media technologies.

WP.6. Reliable and Smart Network of Things

The main objective of this work package is to provide mechanisms that ensure the trustability and reliability of the information provided by the IoT devices and data sources. The means for this are mechanisms that ensure continuous data and information access based on inter or intrapolation, means for generating knowledge about the state of things and objects, and understanding of how objects and things have behaved in comparable situations previously.

WP.7. Use cases Adaptation, Integration and Experimentation

The work package focuses on integrating the outcomes of the research and development WPs of COSMOS, verifying their applicability through two representative smart city use case scenarios and providing useful feedback about the COSMOS concepts and technologies.
